Scanned forms retain original look and feel: When OmniForm converts your paper form into an electronic form, it retains the look, feel, and layout of the original paper form. Users are more comfortable when they see the form they are used to, and OmniForm Internet Suite lets them see their forms - right in their browser. Filling electronic forms has been made fast, accurate and easy with automatic calculations, drop down boxes and client-side validation. Filled forms can be quickly printed, and filled forms print just like the originals!

Instant database connectivity: The OmniForm Internet Suite allows you to generate instant database connectivity to your form through an easy three-step wizard. Once you have converted your paper form into an OmniForm web form, a wizard will build a database and an ODBC source for your form. After the wizard hosts the form on the server, users will be able to immediately add, list, and search records in the database. It is truly amazing; users will be able to add records directly into the database within minutes of converting the paper form - without any scripting!

Full Web server: The OmniForm Internet Suite includes a powerful Web server. This Web server is a full database application development tool and http server. Because it is an http server, no additional software is required. The server will run on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP. Now you can have your own web forms server - powerful, but so easy to install and use. It does not need or conflict with IIS or PWS. You can even run it on your Windows desktop machine and host your own intranet site. You'll be publishing forms and collecting data in just minutes!

No CGI: Instantly begin collecting data from OmniForm Web forms! Currently, developers start with a paper form and do their best to recreate it in HTML. With OmniForm Internet Suite, you scan in the form and with the help of the wizard you are instantly hosting the original form and collecting the data right into the database. Automatic calculations: Calculations are automatically performed in the browser as a user fills out forms. When the form is scanned into the OmniForm Internet Suite, simple calculations are identified. Additional Excel-like calculations are quickly and easily embedded into the Web form and do not require any scripting. Client-side validation: Basic client-side validation for each field is supported at the browser. Like simple calculations, basic field validation is set up and performed from within the Web form. This will assure that the correct data is being entered into the form as a user fills it out. Supported validations start with the properties of each field and include the field type; time, date, currency and field format; hh:mm am/pm, mm/dd/yr, $0.00. Fields can also be validated with filling properties, which can be chosen from a drop down box. You can even set it up so that a field must be filled out properly before a user can continue filling the form.

Wizard based setup: The wizard walks you through building the database, building the HTML home page to host the form and identifying which fields within a record a user can view and search. After walking through the wizard process, the form is hosted on a site with your logo, supporting information and links to "Add," "List" and "Search" records in the database. This wizard allows you to quickly and easily host a form and link it to a database that grants users the connectivity to immediately begin to add, list and search records into that database.

Browser-based data manipulation: The OmniForm Internet Suite wizard lets you grant users access to the database right from their browser. The wizard will ask you to identify which fields within a record a user can view and which fields within a record a user can search. This process allows you to control what a user can find and see within a database. A user can freely add, view, list, search, delete and update records within the database right from their browser.
